Spiral #3

Spiral #3 - PDF (Easier) | PDF (Harder) | JPZ (Easier) | SOLUTION

Back this month with another Spiral puzzle! There are two PDFs included - according to testers, the Harder version played about as twice as long as they typically solve a Spiral in the New York Times, which only offers Spirals in the difficulty presented here as Easier. So if you're looking for a more serious challenge, give the Harder version a try. If you like how Spirals are presented in the Times, go ahead and solve the Easier version. There's also a JPZ file included which only offers the puzzle in the Easier difficulty. Whichever way you choose to solve, hope you enjoy!

The July monthly bundle for Aries Rows Garden has been posted. A reminder that a subscription for Aries Rows Garden is always available if you'd rather not wait for the monthly bundles.

Happy solving!

Spiral #2

Spiral #2 - Harder (PDF) | Easier (PDF) | Easier (JPZ) | Solution (PDF)

Back with a Spiral puzzle!. If you're used to solving Spirals in the New York Times, the Easier version here should look familiar, as it provides the starting and end points for each answer. If you're looking for an extra challenge, give the Harder version a shot - it still presents the answers in correct order, but starting and end points are withheld. There's also a JPZ file for digital solving (Easier version only) - just download the link above and then head over to Crossword Nexus to solve. Hope you enjoy!

Monthly bundles have been updated through April. And a reminder that subscriptions are always open as well. Sign up if you haven't already!

Happy solving!

Spiral #1

Spiral #1 - Easier (PDF) | Harder (PDF) | Easier (JPZ) | Solution (PDF)

It's the fifth Thursday this month, so it's variety puzzle time! Here's a Spiral puzzle for your enjoyment. I've included two versions of this puzzle: the Easier version is familiar to those who solve Spirals when they are included among the Sunday New York Times variety puzzles. The clues give the starting and ending points of each entry in the Easier version. For the Harder version, the clues are listed in order but their starting and ending points are not given, so you must use logic to determine the placement of entries in the grid. I've also included a JPZ version of the Easier version - once you download the file, you can use this handy JPZ Solver over at Crossword Nexus to solve on your computer.

Whichever version you solve, I hope you enjoy!
